Programs

This program is for adults within our special needs community that are looking for some social interaction with others and interested in travel and exploring new areas of our county as well as surrounding counties.
Some requirements for this program include;
*Follow simple directions
*Being able to walk for an hour
*Being able to take care of all personal hygiene needs(toileting, eating /drinking, medications, etc.)
*Can communicate with others
*Is comfortable in a group
Our goal is to provide a fun safe environment for this population while giving them the opportunity to engage in travel and visiting facilities and environments that they may not have experienced before. We hope to offer these field trip activities once a month.

June 12th we will travel to Kinston to visit Neuseway Park and Planetarium as well as the Mariners Museum. Registration fees are $20 per person. Participants are responsible for lunch.
