On October 2, we will journey to Oriental for the Ol’ Front Porch Festival where we will enjoy a wide variety of music as well as various craft and other vendors and a food market to satisfy your cravings! The bus leaves at 10am from Fort Benjamin and we will take the Cherry Branch Ferry ferry for this trip. Lunch is on your own. There will be lots of food varieties at the Food Park and lots of music! Don't forget the Vendor Market as well with numerous vendor to choose from! There will be a wide variety of music so bring a chair and find your favorite front porch and enjoy! Core Sound Cornhole League will meet at the Marshallberg Picnic Area on Thursdays from September 3rd to October 15th at 6:00 PM. Playoffs will be held at the end of the regular season. During the regular season each team will play 2 matches each Thursday at 6:00 PM & 6:45 PM. Each match will be best out of 3 games. Games are to 21. Plaques will be awarded to the regular season champions. A special Core Sound trophy will be given to the tournament champions. Team Fees are $50, which includes a t-shirt for both team members.
