Athletic Field Status Update
All park facilities are open.

Join us for a summer full of fun in the sun! Our seven week summer camp kicks off June 16th and runs through August 4th, with no camp the week of July 4th. Our camp is for youth ages 7-11 years old and costs $125/week. Each week will include Field Trips! Reverse Field Trips! Competitions ranging from lego builds, to karaoke to relay races and much, much more! Each day is packed full of activities keeping everyone busy and active from drop off in the morning to pick up in the afternoon. Space is limited so register today! Tennis Summer Camps
Join us on the courts this summer with our summer tennis camps! We will be offering our tennis camps at Western Park and Swinson Park. Our camps focusing on building and enhancing the foundation of the sport while also having fun in the sun! Space is limited so register today!

NFL Co-ed Youth Flag Football League
Save the date! Carteret County Parks & Recreation NFL Co-ed Youth Flag Football league registration will open June 27th, 2025. More details to come!
Summer Archery Camp
Join us July 7th-11th for our Summer Archery Camp @ Western Park! Our camp is for youth ages 8-15 years old and there is no experience needed to join. Highlights of camp include: The steps of shooting, shooting form, range safety and of course fun games to test the skills learned! We will be having two(2) different sessions: 9:00am-10am and 10:30am-11:30am, space is limited so register today.

Yoga for All
Yoga is for everybody and every body! This is yoga for all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, open to all adults. Continuous classes are held on Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am, in the exercise room at Fort Benjamin Recreation Center.
