Youth Beach Volleyball
Carteret County Parks & Recreation Department and Morehead City Parks & Recreation Department are partnering up to offer another season of youth beach volleyball. All practices and games will be held at the Atlantic Beach Circle Volleyball Courts. Registration opens August 1st!

Summer Open Gym Series
Summer Open Gym Series is Back!
Ages: Rising 5th-9th Grade
Dates: June 28th-August 2nd
Location: Beaufort Middle School
Time: Friday's from 9 AM-12PM
$5/session or $25 for all 6 sessions

Functional Fitness at Fort Benjamin
Functional Fitness is an exercise class available to all fitness levels and will cover a variety of components of exercise such as muscular strength, power and endurance; cardiovascular fitness; balance and coordination; range of motion; flexibility and mobility. Registration is available by class($10) or by the month($20). Class meets every Tuesday at 5:30PM at Fort Benjamin recreation Center.
NFL Flag Football
NFL Youth Flag Football League is coming to Beaufort! NFL Flag is the #1, no contact flag football league in the nation. This program will be a 5 vs. 5 format and will be offered to participants ages 7-9 (Shula Division) and ages 10-12 (Madden Division). Games will be held on the football field at Freedom Park in Beaufort and at the Morehead City Parks & Recreation multi-purpose field in Morehead City. Practices will be held at Freedom Park Football Field in Beaufort. Games/practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. MLB Pitch Hit Run @ Fort Benjamin
Join us July 18th at Fort Benjamin Park from 12pm-4pm. Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, Run (PHR) events provide boys and girls an opportunity to show their baseball and softball skills, with the opportunity of earning a chance to attend and compete for a Championship during the 2024 MLB World Series! The Pitch, Hit, Run program is a free event series for boys and girls, and consists of a series of movements that are important in baseball and softball. Yoga for All
Yoga is for everybody and every body! This is yoga for all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, open to all adults. Continuous classes are held on Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am, in the exercise room at Fort Benjamin Recreation Center.
